I FINALLY got my hands on the shoe of my dreams. I feel like Rumpelstiltskin disguised as Cinderella for some reason. 

Probably because the gold/purple looks kinda evil. Villain vibes always. Glad Melissa released the Y/project collaboration once again. I've had so many pairs of Melissas over the years and this one I will treasure with all my heart. They look so kitsch and are obviously a parody of a fairytale "glass slipper". Taking recognizable elements from anime or subcultures and finding the perfect balance between costumey and wearable is what my personal style is about. 

How far do you go? When do you stop? I think my armour also helps strike that balance. It grounds the sweetness and kitsch factor of the pieces with a knife's edge.
